Your journey begins with an overnight stay in Istanbul. Once the end of the Silk Road trade route linking Europe with Asia, Istanbul has always been a mosaic of cultural diversity.

Next, arrive in Canakkale, Turkey. Here, a stroll along the Kordon (the waterfront promenade), followed by time spent exploring the vibrant cobbled lanes are both can’t-miss experiences. A late stay in Cesme, Turkey will give you enough time to visit the 16th century Cesme Castle. Dominating the city center, it offers wonderful views of the surrounding area and the Greek neo-classical buildings of the Old City. The late-night stays continue when we arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey and the historical city of Ephesus. This fascinating excavated city has been unearthed to provide visitors with an incredible first-hand look at life in the Greco-Roman world.

Journey on to the tiny island of Patmos—a place of deep importance for Christianity. It’s where the last book of the New Testament was allegedly written, and where an air of mystery still hangs over the island—not unlike the misty fog that seems to be ever-present just off the shore.

Next is a late stay in Santorini, which means plenty of time to head south to the 3,500-year-old Minoan town Akrotiri. The well-preserved ruins provide a glimpse into Santorini’s storied (and explosive) past.

You’ll continue on to the Aegean Sea and arrive for a late stay in Kavala, Greece, where you’ll find Ottoman treasures in the old town district of Panagia — highlighted by the 280m-long Kamares aqueduct.

Your voyage then takes you to Thessaloniki for a late night. Make your way along the vibrant waterfront under the city's famous landmark, the White Tower. Then, it’s on to Mykonos with its beautiful harbor and quaint seaside restaurants. With a late stay in port, you’ll get to experience that magical Mykonos nightlife before your adventure comes to an end in Athens.
